ABOUT ME

Hey! My name’s Andrés. I’m UX/UI designer, visual designer, and 3D artist based in New York City. I like to create fresh and exciting visual designs, and products that provide efficient and thoughtful solutions.

My experience in design spans over six years of both freelance and corporate work. As a designer, I have worked on graphic design, typography, animation, motion graphics, and video editing. I have also dabbled in 2D and 3D visual art. My passion for art has influenced my style and attitude for developing well-crafted and engaging user experiences. Most recently, I’ve developed my skills in product design as Lead UX Designer of CircleBlack, Inc. which provides SaaS solutions to financial firms across the country.

When I’m not designing, I enjoy watching movies, cooking, exploring the city, playing fighting games, and learning about my favorite subjects, like history and astronomy. I take inspiration from everything and occasionally find myself stopping on the street, or pausing a video, or re-reading a line of text several times, just to see the fine details and figure out why things work the way they do.
